Hi everyone! Excited to join the fandom! I discovered Sanderson in 2023 and since then I’ve read and reread almost all canon Cosmere works with the exception of Elantris (reading right now). I’m also a member of the Order of the Lightweavers

Hey! I’m not really sure how to reply to someone on here but if I had to choose it’s between Cryptics and ashpren. I prefer Cryptics personality wise but I really love the aesthetic the ashpren have with the disintegration and regeneration of their forms.

Thank you! My favorite combination is definitely gold and bendalloy (I'm basic, I'm a Wayne fan)

Thanks! If I had to choose I'm going with Spook. He felt like the 'winner' of Mistborn Era 1 and with minimum trauma (relatively speaking anyways). Plus he also gets Kelsier as a friend and research partner. I saw you're a fellow Hamilton fan too! What are your top 3 songs?

Fellow Kelsier fan! What do you like about him?

I have recently watched the gundam movie Char's Counter Attack and I am pretty sure I like Kel for the same reasons I like Char: They both demonstrate a kind of limitless willpower even in the face of the impossible, but they have a clear humanity to them for how they can be moved by love for others.

It was really his very first scene. There's the idea of "save the cat," where your character's first scene is indicative of the type of person they are. For Kelsier in his very first appearance, he smiles in the face of these horrible oppressors, makes jokes to give hope to the beaten down people as well as feeding them, and rescues a young girl from being assaulted. As soon as I finished the prologue, I knew I was gonna be a Kelsier fan. It's also his capacity to bring out the best in people like Vin and his whole crew, as well as the fact that he keeps loving even after being so badly hurt. I totally agree with what you were saying too, I like him even better in Era 2. He's less than a man in a world of gods that could kill you with the wave of their hand; he's totally outclassed in every way, but he still dedicates his afterlife to protecting his people and doing anything he can to ensure they're safe.

Yes. Mostly. I am either in the mistborn forum posting mistborn stuff, or in general cosmere posting general cosmere mistborn stuff. Or stuff related to metals. I also roleplay. What's your top 2 fav Investiture uses?

Allomancy feels like one of the most graceful and versatile of the magic systems, plus the Mistborn trilogy was the first series from Brandon that I read so I'm biased. I'm not as big on Feruchemy but I am a fan of Hemalurgy, especially to create new creatures I think that's really cool. Basically, Allomancy 10/10, Feruchemy 7/10, and Hemalurgy 9/10
