Yeah, I made this account like 4 years ago and haven't used it since. I came to get involved in discussing Wind and Truth, since it landed really poorly in a bunch of ways with me and wanted to explore why.

I thought this made me caught up on all of the cosmere stuff, but I guess I missed that the blitz of books that happened included some? Also, I could never get into the comic for White Sand.

Welcome to the Shard! Will keep an eye out for your thoughts on WaT as I've been hardbouncing off the book repeatedly and can probably relate.

Hi there!! Welcome once more to the Shard!!

If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?

Penguin. The belly sliding, diving, and cultural norm around transient relationships appeal to me.

Hey there! Welcome (officially) to the Shard! :D

So which of Brandon's books have you not read, yet?

I am basically only into his Comsere stuff. Looking at the coppermind, it looks like I missed that The Sunlit Man, Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, and Tress of the Emerald Sea came out.

Who's your least favorite character?

It is probably Syl. I just can't stand her whole personality. I could kind of dig Kaladin some if he wasn't spiritually attached to her, but I often find myself not liking him the most when she is getting focus. She gets craploads of screen time, and I cannot recall a single time I have been happy about this.

Hello, my good fellow. Assuming you had the ability to punt one character from any franchise, series, etc, who would it be, and why?

I have realized this does not mean doing the Randy Orton move of a running kick to the head of kneeling person, which I was going to say "not sure I feel like giving brain damage to fictional characters, kind of vindictive" and instead probably means ejecting the character from the story.

Am I allowed to kick God out of Bible and the related works? I think that would be fun to see how it effects world religion if suddenly three of the world's most notable religions suddenly were all made atheistic by some ontological shift caused by me. Plus, I could go around telling people that Nietzsche was wrong, we didn't kill God: I personally did it. Everyone else just watched.

Otherwise, I am not usually huge on franchise or larger serial media anymore. I still check out seasonal anime, but I have developed a sense of taste which sees art as needing to be bound, to be contained within a frame, in order to be properly appreciated. People and art must be finished before a lasting judgement is possible.

The definition of punt is subjective in this case, but this is an expectable interpretation

This is allowed, yes. And is a rather creative answer.
