This was urgent. They would find more where they were going.

She dropped it, honestly unsure why.

Reluctantly, he dropped the pitchfork.

Lissy felt empty.

Aela continued holding her hand.

Lissy felt comfort from the disembodied spirit.

She ignored it.

There seemed to be a pool of mixed light and dark in the center.

She just stared at it.

They tingled slightly.

They all felt the urge to enter.

As they stepped in, they were transported away from reality, deposited instead in the turbulent river that was now time.

A hand - invisible, barely present, pulled them out along the bank.

They began to reassimilate into reality, emerging somewhere else.

@Through The Living Glass

Who are you?

It was Intellect’s voice, though it was incredibly exhausted.

@Spark of Hope

A hug, and a voice. Mirth.

Child. Felicity.

Cye had no such visitation. Boo-hoo.

“Mirth! Mirth!” she cried, although with all she had been through it was near silent. She tried to hug back.

I am here.

You have a duty. You were sent here for something, I think. A power, to prevail against the chaos that sprouted from Aelorin’s foolishness.

Intellect isn’t well. He… he’s dying.

She didn’t feel anything about hearing that. He hadnt cared that she was hurting. Why should she care?

“N-no, you shouldn’t be. Rage should be sorry.”

Felicity… Rage is a very confused individual. He lived his entire life in devotion to one person…

And then that person disappeared. It drove him mad, and he became hateful. He was not always as he was.

Everything he does, he does it for her.

She blinked. Was that . . .

. . . Intellect?

No. No, she was hallucinating. Or dreaming. Or something.

She gripped the locket.

I… I see. Aela. It’s not me. At least… not really. Sorry. It’s hard to think. I’m dying. Maybe. But. We’re not in the same reality. I can see your memories, though. So Rage killed Mirth, did he?

She . . . she felt so confused. And tired.

. . . Yes? she said quietly.

Hang on - the bond has been renewed, for now. You might be renewed by finding someplace cold.

Unfortunate. Rage has always been a mite confused.
