Did you read the post I linked? it covers all of that (and more).

I did a while back but was still nervous. I relied on the wikis and lore media for background when needed. 

But now that I've reread it, it seems that you assert that the Prose version and GN present all the important stuff in a lore-accurate way. 

I think I'll give it a shot. (wanna finish my Mistborn reread first, tho ) 

Is the GN omnibus better lore-wise? I couldn't understand from your post if lore was a focus of the fixes...

• The Omnibus is fully Canon (lore and worldbuilding)
• Free prose version is about 60-75% there with some major changes.
• Original Graphic Novels are Canon - except the mistake in book 1 with Slatrification.
  • The big changes from original GN to Omnibus was restoring deleted material (like teh Khriss Prologue) and removing art mistakes (like the "boombox radio" drawn in the background of a tent in Book 1). 

The only version of the story I have not "read" is the Graphic audio. . . feel free to respond here or that linked post if you have more questions.

... After having though about it, I have some quarter-bakes ideas, but this thought-exercise requires a lot more marination...
