Earth has been deteriorating for the past few years and this group of people wanted to leave.

Now out people find themselves in space with little knowledge of what is to come. They are on a spaceship. These people have a quirk

which features they have: pale face, wings (still has arms), talons instead of toenails, big eyes, feathers mixed in with hair

Yea no it’s a pretty obscure animal. I was originally gonna do lemon shark but then i thought of mantis shrimp and was like ‘yea that would be cool’.

Inexplicably anthropomorphic animals - especially in a non-magical universe - is going to bug me, but alright. What's our tech level?  

Hmmm can I be a tardigrade hybrid? I'd be in charge of spacewalks, for obvious reasons.
