bdoble97 Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 Does anyone know how many pages the Stone walkers book is going to be
1 RedBlue Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 @bdoble97 The kickstarter bills it as a 144 page campaign book. I expect that to include plenty of art, maps, stats, tables etc for the purposes of playing the game. 1

Do you perhaps mean Stones Unhallowed? That was a temporary possible name for Book three when considerd making that book Szeth's Flashback stories, before he changed to Dalinar's Flashbacks. Spoiler Quote Questioner (paraphrased) Speaking of Rothfuss, can you tell us how far along he is... Brandon Sanderson (paraphrased) No, I don't know how far along Pat is, when I hang out with Pat I don't ask him because he gets that enough. I'll tell you this, in my outline from ten years ago, the third book is named Stones Unhallowed, and his third book is named Doors of Stone. So either I've got to beat it or change it - I thought, "I have to write this book faster". Words of Radiance Seattle signing (March 8, 2014) Quote Questioner First of all, how confident are you in your race with [Patrick] Rothfuss for use of the word "Stone" in your title? Brandon Sanderson You know, it's looking more and more like this might not even be Szeth's book. And if it's not Szeth's book, I may not even name it Stones Unhallowed; I might name it something else relating to another character, but then again, Kaladin's book was named after the book Dalinar was reading, so anyway. We'll see. I'm pretty sure I will... He has said his "isn't coming out next year," as in coming out this year, and so... I'll have mine done by the end of this year, and it will be coming out next year, so it'll just depend Firefight Seattle UBooks signing (Jan. 6, 2015) Quote Questioner Have you thought of titles for the rest of The Stormlight Archive? Brandon Sanderson No, I only named the first five when I was doing my outline. They were Stones Unhallowed, Oathbringer, and I don't like the other name so I'm not going to mention it. Firefight Atlanta signing (Jan. 24, 2015) Quote havoc_mayhem I'm sure others have spotted this already, but I just noticed that the titles of the first 5 Stormlight Archive books are on track to form a palindrome. (The) Way of Kings Words of Radiance Oathbringer (The) Rhythm of War ... WoK.WoR.O.RoW... This is really cool! Whether coincidence or deliberate, I hope that Sanderson continues the trend. Brandon Sanderson Let's just say that abandoning the title of book two way back when let me rebuild the title sequence to do something I hadn't been able to make work in my original series draft. Stones Unhallowed isn't likely to be the last book's title any longer. General Reddit 2019 (Nov. 15, 2019) If I am wrong about Stoned Unhallowed, please let me know to which book you are referring and I'll see if I can answer the question. Hope that helps

Stonewalkers does not appear to be a novel or novella - it's a game supplement, but I cannot find any information on how large that Adventure will be yet. Spoiler The Stonewalkers Adventure has been written, designed, playtested, and has been through multiple rounds of continuity review. We're still at the midpoint of art and maps for this one, but those are proceeding well. Hope that helps
