At most it's a bind point, but I think it's just because that's the biggest part of you, and where your heart is. 1

It has already been theorized that both are based on some of the principals of Hemalurgy, because both allow normally fatal changes to the body to work by rearranging the body around the obstruction, and both involve some measure of control to be exibited by an outside force that knows how to do so. 1
