Aelorin studied the stone as he hung motionless.

It had appeared, and he couldn’t move now.

Bother.

The stone pulsed, and suddenly Aelorin was in another place - some twenty others there as well. A field, with dark fog covering the land. There was no sun.

In its place, a light - increasingly intense - glared from the sky, nearing them.

Aelorin calmly assessed the situation, then frowned as his second mind was silent. “Something’s wrong…”

He looked up to the light, which was getting brighter and brighter, an orange light coming from it.

He looks up

The light resolves - though it is very very far away, you are somehow able to tell that the light comes from a fire specifically.

It seems to be coming from a stone.
