We got some more trophies in the latest chapters and I figured they were worth discussing in their own thread.

Quote

Housed in a small room full of glass-fronted cases, each unlabeled artifact had its own shelf lit by a handful of chips. A silvery horn or claw from some great beast. A chunk of light red crystal, like pink salt—though of a deeper, more vibrant color. A violet stone egg, partly crystalline, with silver swirling around its shell. A fat, succulent leaf that pulsed red and seemed to radiate heat. A vial of pale sand she now recognized as having a very practical application.

Some of these are ones we already know (pink salt = roseite aether, sand=sand from Taldain).

Others are less obvious

silvery horn = seems likely to be dragonsteel in my opinion

violet stone egg = I bet this is something entirely new

leaf that radiates heat = this has to be a sun heart right? The description seems to imply it but Canticle doesn't have a perpendicularity so how did they get access to it?

Would love to hear other's thoughts

This what I thought too. We know that dragons leave behind dragonsteel when they die, and from Dragonsteel Prime, we know that dragonsteel laces all throughout a dragon's body when it's alive. It making up their horns/claws makes perfect sense.

I'm betting that this is either a larkin or chasmfiend egg!

Chasmfiend carapace is described as "dark violet" (and they also have violet blood) and Chiri-Chiri's is normally "brown-violet" which could line up with the egg's color. Rosharan wildlife is also the only type we've seen that's capable of incorporating minerals into their biology, which would explain the egg being rock/crystal.

In addition we know that chulls, which have a similar pupation life cycle to chasmfiends, hatch from eggs (although we don't know what those look like).

The silver in the egg is the main thing that doesn't necessarily fit this idea. Chiri-Chiri's eyes are silver colored though, if that counts for anything.
