The structure is a massive tube that slowly ramps up to the sky. It’s seemingly made from similar materials to the suit the two “sky people” were wearing, and their self-propelled wagon. The pillars holding it up are made of the same material, and are in triangular groups, crossed by supports made from the same material. At the point the Runway reaches the ground, a large circular structure can be seen. You can still see the car, barely, which implies that they’re close. And actually, there are a few similar cars around, leaving the round building in different directions. 

Adtae surveyed the area for any threats, and waited for the wagon-thing-that-I-keep-on-wanting-to-call-car.

It is a car - or, rather, something closer to an off roading vehicle - but I don’t think Adtae has ever seen or heard of a car, so I’m calling it a wagon for immersion. 

There don’t seem to be threats, unless you count the far away “sky people” vehicles. The whole place is less busy than it seems a structure this size would indicate.

He did. He made sure to keep his arms steady for Pyre.

After another ten seconds, a hand reaches out, grasps yours, and pulls you out into a brightly lit room. In the few seconds it takes your eyes to adjust, the others would be coming through.

The front end of a shriek erupted from his mouth, but he silenced himself. He pressed against them initially, but stopped hearing Vvondin’s call. He made another sound as he was lifted back and floated suspended in the wall. 

When the hand pulled him out, he fell to his hands and knees. With one hand he shielded his eyes from the bright lights.
