Atdae scooped up the bird, bringing it to the Idea. He wished for a way to carry the bird with him, as well as the package.

“I will come with you, once I finish my food. I wonder where this bird is from.” Rust begins to move back and forth, scraping rust off the platform so they can eat more of it. They break the blade plant off at its base and lay it flat, reducing the number of nodes needed to surround it.

A dark doorway opened to the right. Adtae sensed a large amount of Andharik energy from it. He hesitated, then stepped through.

Adtae, since he resided as both a spirit and a physical object, could see the spirit, a man imbued with the Andharik energy of death. With his physical sight, though, he saw only a wind. As they approached, the spirit threw a large object at Adtae.

Rust physically gets in the way of the projectile, nodes spraying into the air from the impact. They link together in lines, pulling back into their main body. “I cannot see it. What do I do?”

Upon seeing his eyes of darkness, the spirit dissipated, and Adtae absorbed its powers. He replaced his blindfold and mask, then dissolved the blindfolds over his companions faces.
