NOOO ELAN

NO DONT LEAVE

ITS OKAY I'LL MAKE STUFF HAPPEN

I think our main problem is that the map is very very large, so the few tributes left are super spread out. Being in groups with allies wasn't a problem in like, Cosmere HG, because the groups we made were still close together and all fought in the same general area at the end.

Also for those of you who don't know: because Wyrm is leaving for his mission in the next few weeks, he gave me permission to play Forrest because our plots were entangled. I realize that puts me in an odd position as a tribute and a GM, but I'll do by my best to keep everything fair and balanced, don't hesitate to call me out on something 🫡

Kintlen regarded the table at which they were to gamble, frowning.

”No. That won’t do. There’s no element of suspense!”

He shot the table.

Sharlin glared at him. She hoped the bullet went through his boat and caused it to sink.

The man grinned. “And to make it truly fair, you three will vote, and I will do the execution!”

Squall looks like he wants to strangle the man. "SIR WHAT DO YOU THINK GAMBLING IS"

Sharlin glanced between them, really taking note of the whole situation for the first time.

"Squall, you should attack him so I can shoot him without breaking the rules . . ." She mumbled.

Of course you'd choose brute force instead of a fair game, Sharp said, trying to give one of his normal quips, but she could still hear the concern lingering in his voice.

"I'm bad at cards."

“Well, I was never gonna let you go until someone died, so you were essentially just offering your life.”

"Or we could kill you," Sharlin said with a laugh, "You're 'someone', right?"

. . . Did you just say "stabby-stabby"? And, um- yeah, let's just try to survive.

That spear is looking much better, by the way.

Thanks, surviving sounds fun... but isn't this the Hunger Games, don't we have to kill other tributes?

. . . I mean, all we have to do is survive the longest. If we let everyone else die off, they'll have no choice but to let us both win- and I'd rather not kill anyone if I don't have to.

Honestly we’d probably have to let you both win if you’re last lol

The man stared at them, ignoring the threats, except for the sentence, “Ya know, one of y’all’s already shot me. You should come to a decision!”

He clapped his hands excitedly.

@Lord Spirit

"Why, what're you gonna do vine boy?" Sharlin asked, starting to get annoyed. "Last time I checked, vines couldn't swim."

Brilliant comeback

She shrugged.

“I have a gun as well. I can kill you all much faster than it would take for my little raft to sink.”

After a pause.

”I do not fear an early death, for fate has already ruled this for me.”

He cocked his head. “And I wonder what the Aether would do should it find itself in such a vast source of water.”

"Oh yeah I forget about that . . ." Sharlin said, scratching her head.

"I know!" She turned to Winter and Squall, "Let's all vote to kill Sharp! He's already dead so it'll be fine."

Wow, alright then.

“Nope! I want to see you saddened by the choice.”

"I would be saddened! Poor Sharp, he's like my great uncle or something I forgot, anyway he'll be super sad and traumatized from it."

She clasped her hands together and started to tear up, "I shudder to think of all the lamenting I'll have to endure--Ghosts aren't very cheerful company."

"Don't underestimate him! He's a bit more solid then that!"

Sharlin I don't have a presence in the physical world at all . . . so . . .

"He doesn't know that, dumbo," She whispered under her breath.

"Guys, I don't think you can talk your way out of this. One of us will have to die." Winter says. It seemed the gamemakers were bored with the lack of action in the arena, and they had decided to use force.

Sharlin sighed, "I suppose you're right . . ."

It's a shame you're in boats, if you were on land you might be able to tackle him or something.

"Well, I guess somebody's gotta die at some point. Not everybody has amazing little cousins to come break them out of the games halfway through," She let out a hysterical little giggle.
