Maj whistles, and Bird flies over to him and lands on his shoulder. "Oh... I don't think Bird is doing so great..."

El had already landed on Murr's shoulder, and his two other Aviar were in nearby trees. El nipped at his ear. "I think mine are hungry."

"We probably should find a way to get food. I had some fishing supplies, but...Well, you saw what happened. I used them as weapons in those fights."

Murr nodded. "I... don't really have anything."

"Great." Maj says dryly. "There might be some kind of animal in the forest that we can eat. Although I'm not sure if I want to go in there..."

"I'd be willing to try, if I had anything to hunt with. But honestly, I think we'd have better chances trying to find edible plants."

Squall sets the course to that island.

Man, walking on solid ground for once is nice.

"Solid? We're in the ocean aren't we?"

Here in purgatory where land and water is is swapped, so the ocean is a continent for me.

"Oh . . . that's weird. Wait, what do you do when I'm on land then?"

Our Connection is strong enough that I can float on top of the mist . . . or something, I'm not sure how it works.

"Huh, well if I die I'll at least get to see what you're talking about."

I'd rather you didn't 😅

Sharlin looked out at the open sea, the sun shining down on them as they sped through the water. "I wouldn't mind dying now . . ." She said softly, too quite for anyone to hear. Whether Sharp heard it or not, she didn't know because he didn't reply.

I thought the gm's should know we're on the ocean and going to the big island in the top-ish left now.

Maj begins walking on the edge of the trees, looking for plants with berries or fruit in the forest.

Exp. isn't a GM this time

Some of the trees had brightly colored fruit hanging from their branches. Perhaps... too bright...

There were also some duller fruits, ones that looked more like typical bananas and pineapples.

Murr followed along, tense. I don't want to fight him... Will I have to? Should I strike first? Should I run?

Good thing I didn't ping him, then.

Maj looks to Bird and points at the 'bananas.'

Bird 'says' nothing.

Maj shrugs, and experimentally grabs one of them from the tree.

Maj takes a few steps back and raises his machete, just in case.

"Murr, do you think your Aviar might know anything about these fruit?"

My understanding is that they were taught about what plants are edible. So you can ask a GM whether they find anything

Hmm . . . unfortunate. Is there anything in the jungle?

I was think it'd be best to get away from this island, y'know?

"Yeah the would probably be smart." Evan walks toward the edge of the jungle and tries to find anything that he would be able to float on. He looks out for any logs that would be especially good for floating. @Ancient Elantrian

This again?

*sigh*

Still no floating bodies

There's a log. It probably won't work that well, but he'd be able to get a decent amount into the water.
