Ye. I have a wee bit of time left. If it’s wood, it’s prob on its last limbs. But I think we need GM word here. But now I really need to go.

I’d say metal shaft, plastic blade. But I wasn’t the one who gave them out - operate under that assumption unless I’m contradicted.

Actually, it's fairly light, and the oars are a more soft, bendable plastic rather than hard and immovable.

So you could do some damage but it would be hard to kill someone with it.

I hate beans.

"Why's that?"

They grow on plants, and I hate plants.

"Ah, I see. It must be terribly difficult for your mother to get you to eat your veggies."

Oh ha ha, very funny. Sharp still seemed grumpy about earlier.

“They taste like most of the other processed food I had in the Capitol. Nowhere near as good as food from the wild.” Winter replies. Hopefully he was safe for now. He still hoped he could get a weapon soon.

Kaa was Wit’s character originally from the Twinborn games. He won, participated in the Stormlit games and was a gamemaker in the Threnodite games.

Nah, you should focus on someone else.

What about him is like Third?

The GMs can’t read minds from far away. You need to let them know you want help.

No idea about third

I don't necessarily need help, I was just joking against you bribing my ally

Give people time to respond. As fun as it is to RP back and forth quickly, please remember that people have lives and aren’t always available. Most RP’s go a lot slower than the hunger games. Plus there are some pesky things like time zones and sleep that mean people aren’t always on at the same time as you. That being said, someone will probably respond in an hour or so, based on the typical speed of these things. The second day of the Threnodite games, there were almost 800 replies (32 pages!) in a single day. There will be plenty of action.

Berin brings up his oar in defense, deflecting the man using the hilt of the blade’s attack in the path of that of the one attacking directly, sidestepping. He kept his eyes on the bird, making sure it didn’t attack again.

Casper swipes his machete across at his legs instead of going straight for him, hoping to catch Berin off guard with the strange maneuver.

No. I was just saying stormfather responded to the questions of the oar and not the attack… But I was impatient. True.

*awkward apology noises*

Berin saw this, and, recognizing that he would be unable to block in time, threw the oar (which was already being swung in this direction) at the other one, and violently jumped at the one swiping at his legs. He doesn’t get high enough to clear them, as he expected, so his feet do get hit.

He gave a feral snarl and prepared to bite the one who changed his attack.

Berin still doesn’t know their names.

Maj lurches backwards away from the fight warily, readying his machete to strike if an opportunity presents itself, and ready to parry if needed.

Could you use the names just for ease of my reading of your posts, even if your charater doesn't know the names?

Casper is utterly floored by this feral response, he once again brings the hilt down in another attempt to knock Berin unconscious.

Man, I swear, every time I think I have an hour I suddenly have to go eat dinner or watch spiders or something.

Berin’s hand lashes out and catches *Casper’s* arm, while he bites at the throat.

He could see one of them, not yet an adult, wretch in the corner of his eyes.

Casper wrenches himself away with as much force as he can muster and (regardless of escape or not) uses his other hand to deck Berin in the gut.

As the fighting went on, another shrill whistle could be heard, and the nearby Aviars quickly swooped in behind Berin, talons extended to claw the back of his neck.

Quote

He could potentially fend El off if he notices the whistle and reacts immediately, though that would make him vulnerable to Casper.

Berin has latched himself onto Casper at this point, and flips himself underneath Casper, gasping shortly as the pain hit him. He used Casper as a shield, hiding under his larger stature. He had heard the whistle, and was ready for it.

I’ve gone completely feral.
