HoidMyDrink Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 I would like dedicated forum topics for each chapter or two of the books that keeps me from missing things that I tend to miss way too easily. As Wind and Truth chapters are being released every Monday until the book comes out we get good forum posts two chapters at a time. Is there anything like that with all of the Stormlight Archive or other Cosmere books? 3
Miyabi She/Her Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 Welcome. Once the book comes out you are more than welcome to start those topics as you read through and I'm certain people will join in as they read.
Aeternum Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Welcome to the Shard! I believe they only do those for books that are going to be released soon, whereas there should be a full discussion area for fully released books. It's possible you could find something like that in one of those areas!
Treamayne Posted September 21, 2024 Posted September 21, 2024 Welcome to the Shard. Please consider checking out the Sharder FAQ for some tips and tricks of which you may be unaware. Also, please condsider updating your first post here with a list of what you have or have-not read (whichever list is shorter) so that we can use spoilers appropriately. 19 hours ago, HoidMyDrink said: I would like dedicated forum topics for each chapter or two of the books that keeps me from missing things that I tend to miss way too easily. Not necessarily separate threads for each chapter or two, but (if you have already read them - spoilers if you have not) you may want to check out these read-along threads: Ale's I'm reading Wax & Wayne for the first time Era 2 read-along Amara's I'm Reading Stormlight Archive for the First Time read-along There are a few others around if you seach (those were just 'off t'top o mi head'. A format like that where you post completed checpaters and ask questiosn if you have any works well in a forum thread environment, and we can answer or answer-in-spoilers (this way you can come back to read the spoiler section after the indicated chapter, if desired) as needed. Hope that helps 1
