+GreyHive Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 If you're like me, you spend a lot of time perusing the Coppermind. I expect to use it quite a bit come Wind and Truth release day. Rather that googling something, scrolling past ads and other sites (that shall not be named), then clicking the Coppermind link, what if you could search Coppermind directly? The good news is you can! Here's how: In your Chrome browser, click the 3 vertical dots in the top right and select Settings at the bottom of the menu. On the left select Search Engine and then click the button that says Manage Search Engine and Site Search. Scroll down and click Add next to Site Search. Name can be anything. (ex. Coppermind) Shortcut is what you'll type into your browser (ex. coppermind or cm) URL should be https://coppermind.net/wiki/Special:Search?go=Go&search=%s Save After restarting your browser, you can now type your shortcut (coppermind or cm) into your brower, hit Tab, then whatever you want to search for. Pressing enter will take you directly to the page or to the Copperminds search area. Please let me know if you've got any questions! 3

You can use the search bar on top of the coppermind, where it will autocomplete matching searches as you type. (also allows wuick-jump to book subpages like "Internal Art, Summary, etc." 1
Miyabi She/Her Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 You could also do: site:coppermind.net [Your search] Into the search bar and it will only show results from coppermind.net. 2
