Look at it. LOOK AT IT!

Initial thoughts:

- Dalinar is done for in this book. He ain't making it to book 6.

-He's confronting the Everstorm?

- What's that stuff on the rocks in the foreground? Looks like there are symbols on them?

It looks great, let's see. Dalinar surrounded by 9 spheres. Of which Smokestone and Diamond are missing. Those that represent the edgedancers and skyebreakers. Very interesting!

While I absolutely love this detail and am all about that theorycrafting, it's worth remembering the grain of salt that these covers are not Canon.

Totally agree! I still remember when I didn't know this. I spent the entire The Way of Kings wondering who the character on the cover was.

 Definitely the little clues anmd details they leave on the covers are my favorite part. Well that and the composition.
