Hello
Big reader... and Sanderson proselytizer. As well as a Wiki reader, because sometimes it's good to refresh my memory. ^^

And like I said, I'm French so I have bad English (with a pretty heavy French accent ^^). So I read in French

Welcome to the Shard!

What was your opinion on the 2024 Olympic Games?

I thought it was going to be a disaster but I was wrong and I'm glad I was. Apart from a few minor organizational problems (the triathlon aside) and an unnecessary provocation at the opening ... It was pretty well done.
Now it's time to pay the bill....

Hello! Welcome to the Shard! 😁

If you could travel to anywhere on Roshar, where would you travel?

With the Everstorm, I'm note sure I want to go to Roshar. ^^

Welcome to the Shard! Who is your favorite character?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I'd say Vin, but maybe Lightsong, because the concept of an atheist god amuses me a lot.

Bonjour,

How do you pronounce Kelsier

In a bad way, I think. Because of some French words....

\kɛlsje\

but "er" is ambiguous sound in French, so I could pronounce

\kɛlsjɛʁ\

I'm not a linguist, is that a "long a" sound, like we'd hear at the end of an -er verb?

hum, yes like those verbs.. or a lot of names like boulanger, fromager, léger, aventurier... maybe you heard that like long a, but for us is like "é".

I'm sure neither pronunciation is the “right” one ^^ But I read in French, so inevitably it affects the sound of nouns in my head.

Yes é produces approximately the same sound as a long a here. My brain must not have been working or I would have thought to just use é

But, Kelsier is French inspired, and word of Brandon is that Kelsier should be pronounced with a é sound and the end, so you're actually right

Have you heard of Epic the musical?
