A student at BYU has recorded the lectures to Brandon Sanderson's infamous creative writing class and is in the process of putting them up on YouTube. So far, only the first three are up, but they are in the process of editing the rest for viewing.

I've watched all the videos up so far. These are really awesome because he is able to spend a lot more time explaining than on Writing Excuses.

If anyone didn't see this, the guy running the website is starting a sort of online class thing for those who want to take this a little more seriously and somewhat recreate the class environment/deadlines.

I saw that. I think I'm going to come up with a new concept to outline/write for it. Submissions seem to be closed now though. I applied a few days ago. Has anyone heard back?

I've watched all of them, plus his lectures at Jordancon. It would be interesting to be in a writing class like that that carried over more than one semester. Someone somewhere has set up a free college just for writing classes like this somewhere, right?
