Hello everyone, As one might tell from the topic description, I'm a lurker. I've been a lurker for quite awhile, since finding out about Brandon Sanderson. I learned of him, like I think many people have, through his Wheel of Time books. I, for one, was pretty leery about some author I never heard about taking over such a beloved franchise. My older brother raved about his earlier works but I didn't bother with reading them. I read The Gathering Storm and overall, was impressed by it. But I still wasn't completely sold on his work or I was just intimidated by his intricate magic systems, I don't know. But it wasn't until Towers of Midnight and some little book called The Way of Kings that I was sold. Now, I'm completely hooked. I've read TWoK probably a dozen times, I frequently listen to the audiobook and I learned how to pronounce Rock's real name just for fun. But now, I'm at the stage where I desperately desiring more Stormlight and there's none to be had. So I console myself by reading through the theories forum which isn't altogether a good idea, since it just makes my hunger grow. Alas... As far as myself goes, I live in the world of the mundane, surrounded in all directions by cubicles. I have an eclectic taste in music, I love roleplaying games (both of the pen & paper and the digital variety) and I fancy myself a writer. I also have the tendency to giggle for no apparent reason. Anyway, I figured I would properly introduce myself finally. Khalan
