She removed her glove and re-iced her hand as a demonstration.

Jenny tapped the tip of her nose and made it freeze. She giggled a little bit despite herself, then let it all melt again. She replaced the glove, her mood having suddenly improved.

Jenny sat down, squirmed in her seat for a while, then somehow ended up sitting upside down, her heels on the top of the back of the booth. Her mind had drifted away from the whole Terrance and Jace thing rather quickly, and now she was bored. She looked over at Terrance, trying to see if he was doing anything interesting.

Jenny was now sitting with her feet on the table. Hopefully Lucid and Ashton wouldn’t take too long. She hadn’t realized how much Ed had kept things from being boring.

She walked back over, glancing at Terrance. He was always particularly hard for her to read.

Without Ed, Jenny didn’t have many sources of comfort. That little dog was the only reliable thing she had.

jace blinked awake to watch what was happening. he felt much warmer though he was still cold.
