Aaron gritted his teeth. It takes someone of considerable skill to evade me he thinks to himself. He glances at the seeds in his hand. Screw it he chucks a big handful of them on the ground. Sending them into an early bloom, making there smell sickening, cloying, and ever present. Much like death itself

Jenny was getting fed up with this guy. He wasn’t being very reasonable. He needed to just accept that this was his fault. Prove that he was at least somewhat worthy of trust.

Jenny lowered her dagger slightly. He hadn’t accepted that he was at fault, but at least he had apologized.

Jenny smelled a beautiful, familiar smell. Her ruby wasn’t glowing. Death flowers? She hadn’t realized they grew here. And the smell had become overpowering instantly. Had Aaron grown some flowers or something?

Raising her voice sent another jolt of pain through her side, and Jenny grimaced. She fell to the ground, and decided that it wasn’t worth the effort to get up. She’d be useless in a fight, her only option was to try and put the stranger to sleep. Jenny lowered her dagger in an attempt to show a sign of trust.

“Because there’s three armed people in front of you who have no reason to trust you either. What’s to say you aren’t a spy sent to find our position and report back to our enemies? Perhaps you were sent here to kill us and have done a very poor job of it. If we knew why you were here, we wouldn’t need to make such unfortunate assumptions.”

Aaron, painstakingly sent plants through the ground, putting them on all sides of the semi - invisible figure. Reinforcing them with others, in a wide barrier around the figure. Hopefully the smell will distract him. He waits a few minutes as they talk. Sending all of the plants, not towards the person in particular, but all around them, crafting a cage, thick enough that not even Roy's spear may get through, with it's damned electricity.

A wave of something slammed into him, threatening to send him into an unconscious state again. "No, mother, I am doing all I can" he yells suddenly. He feels the plants still doing his bidding. The unnatural amount of fear and terror starts to drown him. What am I sacred of  he thinks as he breaks away from eye sight of the other half blood, continuing to send his lattice of plants as a barrier, breaking the sight between the two.
