Isa shrinks back. "Oh, well...well, Jared wasn't answering me and I went over and tried to make him and he was crying." She shivered. "He reminded me of someone else who was crying, and then he was him and it was really scary."

"Shh... It's alright. Does Jared do that a lot?" Iris sooths her gently.

Isa shook her head. "I only saw him do it one other time, but I hear him at night sometimes." She looked down. "It makes me scared," she repeated.
