The implication of investiture accessibility for worldhoppers from Sel.

So I was thinking specifically about how a world hopper from Sel could access investiture without a jar of Dor. My thoughts ran through the feruchemical properties of the known metals and stopped on Nicrosil. According to the official handbook for the Mistborn Adventure Game TTRPG, Nicrosil stores pure investiture and is used by feruchemists to enhance their other metalmind effects when tapped. However, using hemalurgy to create a Nicrosil ferring out of an Elantrian could potentially give them the ability to store and use investiture in/from their own nicrosil metalminds. How possible is this?

So, the Mistborn TTRPG kinda lied at the time of it's creation; we didn't know how nicrosil worked.  We know now that Nicrosil doesn't store investiture, it stores the ability to use investiture. Beyond that, we still are not sure how it works. BUT you can do this instead

Yes, it is region locked, exactly. If a full Feruchemist using nicrosil were to create an unlocked medallion that allowed an Elantrian to store Connection to Elantris' location, would it let them use AonDor at full power as long as they were tapping that Connection?

Yes. That should work just fine.

Just understand that the medallion's going to have to be usable by everyone in order to work. You're going to have to jump through some hoops, but I think what you want there would work. And for those of you listening, that would be the harder way to unlock AonDor. There are easier methods.
