Rube Goldberg Machine

This is a video of a rube machine my sister built. The goal is to take a sweatshirt off its hook.

I can tell you the steps if you want, since it goes kinda fast.

that's pretty cool. but yeah, it's kinda hard to tell what exactly it's doing

I figured. That was the best video we could get that got most of the steps.

1. release bike wheel
2. wheel unwinds weighted rope
3. weight triggers lever,knocking over trashcan/bowling pin
4. trashcan/bowling pin trips topheavy bar
5. topheavy bar pulls string which pulls off fridge magnet
6. lack of fridge magnet releases wire hangar with attached weighted arrow
7. wire hangar with attached weighted arrow travels down clothesline and spins a rebar balanced on a can
8. rebar pulls string, which pulls a box out from underneath water-filled container 1
9. water-filled container 1 pulls water-filled container 2 off of counter
10. water-filled container 2 pulls a string attached to box2
11. pulling on box2 knocks off water-filled container 3
12. water-filled container 3 pulls down on another string
13. pulley reverses string direction and pulls of sweatshirt

I finished another rube machine with some of my friends as well. We are going to enter it into a competition on Friday. I might be able to get a (better) video of that one, since all the steps have to be in a smaller space.
