Despite his new godly state, TAAron couldn't deny that the sight was terrifying. He used his abilities to quickly move past the creature, seeking out the metal that Essa described.

The wyvern hissed, whirling and spouting fire at him. 

There was a pedestal in the very back with a large, warped chunk of blueish metal.

The fire hit him, but it didn't really matter. This body wasn't made of flesh and bone like it appeared. Regardless, his heart—Do I actually have a heart anymore?—pounded as the heat washed over him. It was uncanny, being in such a dangerous situation and knowing with a certainty that it didn't matter. His mind screamed at him that it was all too easy as he reached the metal and lifted it.
