The hawk chirped before perching on his head.

Tal laughed. "Well...hi, little buddy. Where'd you come from?"

Tal walked through the clinic. People smiled, waved, greeted him. He smiled, waved, greeted them. But the motion began to feel...forced. Cold.

We could destroy them...

Tal froze. No, no, no, no. He was supposed to be safe here. No magic, no destruction, no...no...

I grow hungry.

Shut up! Get out of my head.

I only come to take what's mine...

There is no place for you here. Leave.

Tal felt a sense of amusement radiating through him, one that he knew wasn't his own, one that he hadn't felt since he came to the clinic...it was followed by an image of flames, of the clinic falling to pieces, like it had when Kaos attacked. Only this time, Tal saw himself destroying it...

He fell to the floor, unconscious.

Would this be an ok time for me to join? If so, is there anything I should know?

Alright, thanks!

Addison  saw someone sitting on the ground, talking to a bird in their hair. That was strange, though not as strange as some of the things she’d seen.

“Why is there a bird in your hair?” she asked the man, characteristically blunt. @Edema Rue

“Are you a sentient bird? Scree three times if yes.”

That might explain why the guy was talking to the bird on his head.

The hawk did as requested, then flew away. It came back with two water bottles, one for Addison and one for Tal.

“Addison.” He seemed extremely prideful to her, she’d have to see if he had reason to be.

She turned back to the bird. “How about…Jax?” @Spark of Hope

There was, again, no response. Out of the two, the bird preferred this name, but neither really stood out to him.
