She lifted her hands to say something, but Aventine burst back into the room sliding.

"Sorry - that was a little dramatic. I slipped on... something."

He raises an eyebrow. "hm?"

"Anyway- we don't have a way to communicate with anyone in the clinic. Can we send someone there? Like, a messenger? Get the latest news from there?"

Jar man pulls out a little leaf, rolls it up and smokes it. "gimme a minute"

"NO" he floats up. "WHAT IS IT THAT YOU MUST KNOW?"

She muttered, "Not.. knowledge, necessarily." She spoke up. "The ability to travel instantaneously between worlds."

DG Aventine smiled. She signed, "Can I see that too?" When she'd finished signing, she held up a necklace of her own - that was one memory the two shared.

She scraped as well, being more careful than the other Aventine. She also found a small orb of lesarium, and pocketed it as well. "Thank you," she signed.

"What was your life, before you came here? Was it better or worse?"

Pic sighed. "Not many people dealt with the side effects of hanging around me," he spoke softly in rhythm. "The magic I emit was not under control, and although it was mostly harmless, I was eventually sent wandering. The clinic has helped with that though."

His eyes glow blue. "IS THIS WHAT YOU WISH?"

Something in Aventine warned her: This will have a price to pay.

His words, in the void of the clinic before Elan had taken them to the other world. This was a big wish - it would have a big price.

"Yes- to travel through the worlds at will, and to be able to choose to take others with me."

alright, backlash time. You can do so, but you forget who you are unless someone tells you who are. Also, cool down is 2 days irp. also, you cant choose where you go, so basically youll go to the world you want, but there's a small they actually land where they had wanted there.

"VERY WELL. YOUR WISH IS GRANTED" and jar man fell to the ground, hits his head and groans. "I hate doing that."

Aventine fell, unconscious. She felt memories flood away, the earlier memories first. She forgot all about her abusive father and growing up in House Erikell. She forgot about Snapping, and all the pain that had happened to her since. As the memories went, so did her self hatred and her depression.

And for a moment, it was bliss.

But the moment soon ended.

Something else left her head - but she wasn't sure what. It was something important, she guessed. It would have done her well to remember.
