Ezrium had learned to bury the pain, to not feel it. But it did surface from time to time.

"The truth is that I just don't want to deal with myself now or myself in the past. Maybe that's why I just don't want to have influence on anything."

"Oh... uh, right... I think you just need to be yourself. The past is the past. It may mean everything to you, but new people, your friends, they won't care. If you keep living in the past, then you'll never live in the present, and of you always look back, then you'll never look ahead, to what is to come. And something may be coming. Something your friends will need you for." And with that, Ezrium began to walk away.

"Do you not worry about repeating mistakes?" Melody called after him, but realized it was futile.

"But if you repeat mistakes, that means you didn't learn the last tike you made them. If you don't learn, then you don't grow. If you don't grow, then you really are the same person you once were, the one that you were trying so hard to avoid." Ezrium stopped, and began to think. He zoned out.

"I worry that in trying to become a better person, I'll actually become worse without knowing it- or even worse, the same."

Ezrium did not respond. He seemed to be frozen, with his back facing Melody.

Are the gods TAAron trying to kill going to be the 'big bad guys' of this season of the clinic?

"Ezrium!" She shouted, then stopped.

He probably doesn't care.

And with that, she turned around and accepted loneliness

Ezrium laid on the cold hard floor, yet again lonely and looking depressed because he had no friends. He was also unconscious.

Melody on the other hand, went to her room and looked at her hands, examining them

I wish I didn't have form, didn't have to worry about interference.

If only...

Ezrium, on the original hand, was still unconscious. On the cold hard floor. Looking depressed because he had no friends. And was also unconscious.

Okay, so Ezrium is literally useless right now. I understand.

Ezrium continued to lay there. On that hard and cold floor. Looking depressed as can be, for you see, the poor little lad had no friends to be see. And he was unconscious as well, you see.

I see nothing confusing about this.

For on that night, of great memory, the poor lad laid there, all alone, on that cold hard floor. Maybe was because he was sleeping, maybe it was because he was just unconscious, but I believe, it was because as he lay there, he looked depressed as can be, for you see, he had no friends to be heard of or seen. So he lay there, on that night of great memory, unconscious, for all to see.

At this point it's just stating the phrase in different styles and using ad many words as possible, lol.

I just don't know if there's something you're wanting here, or if you're just waiting.

“Yeah,” Rue said. “They nearly killed you and neither of us could do anything about it. How will it be different this time?”

Aventine's Room

Although her clothes were still on, Aventine sat in a tub of hot water. Her experience in the hallway had been... well, strange, and it had made her nervous, so she drew a bath to calm down. Well, she wasn't cleaning herself, so maybe it wasn't a bath? She was in a tub of water, so she decided to call it a bath.

Before I continue, I would like to make a disclaimer.

I am NOT depressed or suicidal.

Suicide is NOT the answer.

Back to our regularly scheduled mental breakdown.

Just what she had tried so hard to escape had caught up with her again. A druggie, people who didn't seem to care about what she thought or said... It felt inescapable.

Aventine leaned back in the tub, holding her breath. She hoped the warmth of the water would at least soothe the emotional coldness she felt a little.

Just end it. Open your mouth and end it.

It was bizarre. She was crying underwater - at least, she thought she was. This was getting too hard. Maybe... some way out was there.

Aventine opened her mouth, and water began to rush in.

Now would be a great time to burst in and save the day! I don't plan on having her die, so we'll just say he barged in a couple seconds after this
