I wouldn't say there's anything very interesting about it, it's just a large area outside of the Clinic. Just seems odd that he would go out at the same time randomly. Anyway, there won't be much interesting or there for him

While it was mostly down, following the direction it was titled sideways led her to a balcony at the edge of the clinic, overlooking the former battlefield below.

Rue looked down at it coldly. It’s been a full year…

Ezrium was nowhere to be found.

I have nothing against Ezrium being there if you want to.

The tug had grown slightly stronger.

“What do you want from me?” Rue snapped at it.

There was, again, no response. It just pulled her out towards the open fields.

Rue let out a huff of air and followed it.

Eventually, it let her away to a certain point. There, in the ground, half buried and covered in weeds, was some sort of box or case.

Rue prodded at it with a thread of air.

It budged slightly.

Using air, she tried to pull it out of the ground.

She succeeded. It was indeed some sort of metal briefcase, black with a violet trim. It had a couple latches on the front.

Rue looked around, then shrugged and opened it.

Inside was a collection of about a dozen metal shards, interlocking to form a shattered hexagon, cracks radiating from a central piece. One shard appeared to be missing.

Ezrium finished his food and sighed. There seemed to be no one around.

Melody was around

Rue reached in and picked one up. “What now?” She asked the bracelet flatly.

"Are you feeling alright? You seem... Conflicted."

The thing slid, and it nicked her hand, cutting remarkably easily. The spot began to bleed. There was a moment of intense disorientation, and her environment seemed to grow incoherent and distant, like she was in a dream. Threads appeared, like glowing strands, all around her, criss-crossing the landscape in an infinite network. It was overwhelming, and strangely beautiful.

"Conflicted?" he laughed. "Do you know where anyone else is? Rue? Jar Man? Nameless? Pic? Lundyn?"

Melody ticked off her fingers. "Rue came through the portal with me. Jar Man is... Jar man. He's probably fine. I've seen Pic in the clinic recently, Nameless hasn't been seen, and Lundyn didn't come with us."
