Rex snuggled into his arms, liking how safe they made her feel. You don't have to be strong all the time. You can be vulnerable sometimes too. He won't hurt you.

Daniel hated himself for doing this, for holding her, for how she made him feel. It wasn’t right, he thought he loved Julie… he did, right?
