Learning to draw

Hi, this is the first time I have tried to draw since my middle school art class ( which feels like forever ago). This is a character I had made in the back of my head awhile ago so I figured I’d give it a shot. I will be trying to post one once a day and here are the first two.

You are doing excellent. I notice the erased guide lines, and finding shapes as a base for your characters is exactly what you should be doing.
