CJ18 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 So I'm doing a re-read right now, and just finished OB, I just realised that the knowledge of Gavilar's vision is already commonly known, but I forgot and missed in what book or chapter that knowledge is shown to the reader or to other character (especially Dalinar) I tried to find it but the only mention I found is in WoR when Graves mention Gavilar's vision, can you guys help me point out what chapter when Gavilar's vision first mentioned to the reader and the first time it's known to other character as well.
ftl Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Hmm - I don't think that Gavilar had visions is known to most of the characters... the Diagram knows, the Sons of Honor probably know, but I'm not sure Dalinar and his team know.

Taravangian knew, Gavilar told him directly, I think it was mentioned in one of his chapters. Other than him, and the Sons of Honor, I don't think anyone else knew about Gavilar's visions, certainly not his family. Of course Stormfather knows, but he never shared to Dalinar that he gave visions to Gavilar.
