“You go on ahead. I don’t want to be in view of the station.”

Variance's form tumbled from around them, and he but the ground near Ayia. "What do we do if we find it?"

"Uh... by the sounds of things, she'll know."

"Seems... really reasonable." He continued to walk, in an award silence.

“Right here. It’s just through the trees; I won’t be far away, and I’ll hear if anything happens.”

"That's good." Variance kept looking around. He seemed familiar with much of the landscape. He ran his hand along dead branch hanging limply from a tree. It seemed to have been broken by something.

Well the main thing is I don't know if we're even supposed to find the stardragon or not. Or what it looks like.

As for what it looks like... I don't know I'm no good at worldbuilding

screw it

It was an odd sort of building. Ayia was expecting a large metallic sort of warehouse for a 'Research Station,' but instead found herself looking at something a lot more... rustic. Substantial, yes, but still made of stones and wood much like an old castle might. As they approached it became apparent that the building wasn't even held together by any conventional means - perhaps it was magical - but the vines growing up the sides and moss poking out in clumps really didn't help the appearance much.

Jaster froze mid-word.

"We have visitors," he said, his tone strangely tense. He slid over to the banister and looked out over the forest.

When he saw the visitors he relaxed slightly, though he was still reserved. "Hello!" he called out. "Who are you?"
