Kobold King he/him Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Possible idea for the protagonist of What happened in DC/Europe/Mobius' plane of eternal eternity. Protagonist Protagonist: Has a rare prime invinicibility, the protagonist shield, anything which hits him will be just slightly less than lethal, people shooting at him have terrible aim and there will always be a healer passing by when he's injured. Don't all of our characters already have that power? 1
Mailliw73 he/him Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Well I'll write Hammelins entry into the city in the next game morning so prepare for swarms of rats to annoy everyone in the city tomorrow. XD Speaking of what's going on with TT and the WB? Are we all going to meet them or is just going to be Lightwards? I don't know what to do with TTC. Should we ignore Mat's post for now, since we have no idea where it's going and Lightwards didn't mention anything about it? We could have it take place later, after AM introduces himself. Or we can wait for mat. Whatever you decide. I just don't know what to do and I don't want to ruin any plans.
Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I think that's a good idea, I think in the future if anyone's doing anything that other characters would see they should post their plans here first so this doesn't happen.

Does he also have a protagonist-centered morality field, which makes any decision—regardless of whether another character made a similar one and was condemned for it—good and lovely and moral? 1

Indeed, and his primary weakness is trust, whoever he trusts most will always betray him when he needs them most. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Indeed, and his primary weakness is trust, whoever he trusts most will always betray him when he needs them most. His secondary weakness is having friends at all, because whoever he befriends has a 500% higher chance of becoming a super villain. 2
Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 His secondary power is that any female friend he has has a 500% higher chance of becoming attracted to him but being unable to show it. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 His secondary power is that any female friend he has has a 500% higher chance of becoming attracted to him but being unable to show it. But that's okay, because his Protagonist Shield means that when he finally does ask her out, she's 700% likely to say yes! 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) I´m starting to write now, just had to catch up with everything. Also the Protagonist´s prime invincibility is save and load. He can "save" moments in time and travel back in time to these moments, keeping all of his knowledge and memories in the process, it activates automatically if he dies. No one else can remember. Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 But if his weakness is in effect he gets a Corrupted save error and must begin life again from the start. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Does he also have Notice This, where anything that will help him in the future begins shimmering with translucent rainbows, like this: [img[http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/conspicuous_9225.jpg[/img] 2

Another effective way to defeat him is to let him Ragequit by trolling the heck out of him. (btw. I am imagining all the bolded parts in an unneccesary epic/awesome voice and when Lightwards greeted AM I, for some reason, gave him a british accent in my head. ) 2

It's extraordinarily difficult to picture someone with a bowler hat not talking in a British accent. This goes for Purple Phoenix, too. 1
Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 We're now only two short pages away from being the first triple digit paged thread on 17th Shard. Let's hope we don't break it.
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 And they all have name tags hovering over them too Finally, someone that knows who he is talking about. All the theme songs had me thinking, if Nighthound an the Protagonist join up Outer Science will be theirs. 1
Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The Protagonist is now listed with all his powers in the 'Epics of Oregon' thread
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 The Protagonist is now listed with all his powers in the 'Epics of Oregon' thread Good, good. Now, to balance Nighthound´s evil, I´ll let him give out free hugs to Funtimes.
Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 PP attacking Ray post is up, and I've adjusted some bios accordingly
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 23, 2014 Author Posted August 23, 2014 Good, good. Now, to balance Nighthound´s evil, I´ll let him give out free hugs to Funtimes. Why do I think that won't work as planned? O.o By the way, I saw Nighthound standing outside the store with a "Free Hugs" sign, so I stood next to him with one that said "Hugs: $1." Not only did I get more hugs than Nighthound, but I also made $23. 2

Voidus Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 I now have 25 unclaimed Epics in the Epics of Oregon thread. I think I need an intervention :S 1
