Also... IIRC, she has a brass ear ring.. She is already mistborn, but a hemalurgist in soothing as well, meaning she would need a very trace amount of brass for he "luck" to work. Which is probably why it is the only one that actually stands out to her before she learns that she is a mistborn.

Incorrect. The earring was bronze, she was a hemalurgist seeker. That was why she could pierce copperclouds.

EDIT: also, hemalurgy doesn't require burning metal. It is the transfer of the spirit web between two beings. So a bronze spike, like her earring, takes the seeker ability from a misting or Mistborn and transfers it to another host. The hemalurgy itself is not activated or need to be activated by burning metal. One can also transfer human strength using a pewter spike, it doesn't require burning pewter to access this strength.

Yes. In a confusing manner, this actually means that the spike that grants an Allomantic or Feruchemical power to a person might be a different metal than the metal that is burned or used as a metalmind in order to use the same power.

To name one specific example that I can be sure is correct without having the book on hand, if you made someone into a Smoker using Hemalurgy, you would use a bronze spike even though the person would burn copper.

From what I understood, the Hemalurgy effects that transfer "human" abilities only work for creatures that didn't have human abilities already. So what you say is true, if "one" is a kandra or koloss.

Yeah. Bronze was the only one I could think of off the top of my head.

I don't think so. You may be confusing the physical changes caused by transferring human attributes, I can't find anywhere where it says that human attributes can only work for non-humans. After all, both Inquisitors and Koloss were human.
