"Alright. Sounds..." Fadran shrugged. Somewhat normal, at this point. "But he doesn't seem to be afraid of his brother at all. Why do you think he's an impostor?"

"People can disguise as other people. That man has taken on the form of the boy's brother in order to manipulate him. I have been tracking his case for quite some time."

Fadran handed him the money back with a key. "No need. Your room will probably have an ammo box."

The man sighed. "Very well. I am not meant to reveal my identity to anyone else, but seeing as you are being so ferociously stubborn... I am an agent of the interdimensional agency known as the First Guardians. I am assigned to the boy as he is an individual of special interest and importance."

Personalized rooms were another red flag, but honestly at this point Prathen was utterly exhausted and also had mild blood loss. He was half-tempted to talk to some of the other patrons but the mention of an 'interdimensional agency' was the final straw that caused him to retreat to his new room- he was in hot water with quite a few of interdimensional agencies and honestly, he was quite finished with any more action for the day.
He kept the door to his room open, however, partially out of suspicion and partially as an invitation for anyone who wanted to peek in and perhaps start a conversation without the chaos of the lobby.

"What do you mean, peacefully? I have no intention of creating a scene. I just want to get the child safely away from the poser."

"If you're correct, then there's no telling if this 'impostor' is willing to be as courteous. I'll interrogate them after this before you can meet him."

The man gritted his teeth. "There is not time for this. I have handled this type of situation before, and I can promise you it will not result in a major disturbance."

EmLee grew a bit bored of sitting so she decided to take a walk. Eventually she came upon an open door with a person inside.

“Excuse me, it seems you left your door open.”

“Not as far as I know. Pyro is just my name.”

"Hm. Odd name for someone with no fire powers. What powers do you have?"

"How did you guys grow up together? If you don't mind my asking."

"We were... pretty distant. I could barely do anything with him, except sometimes play certain games that he was able to. Why are you asking me this?"
