Language, Connection, and Learning

When a person uses Connection manipulation to gain access to a new language, they forget that language once they stop using that Connection. But if someone were to do this over an extended period of time, could they eventually learn the language, since they would have memories of speaking and understanding it?

I think that, because the person doesn't actually feel the change and that they are speaking a different language, they wouldn't actually learn it, since they hear it as if it was their fluent language.

I can, however, see it working like savantism, where your spiritweb changes if you use it a lot.
