Fullborn IRL Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 There's a little theory I have that's basically trellium inverts a metal's ability making it have an opposite effect, giving the opposite allomantic ability and absorbing the opposite Feruchemical attribute like Trellium hacked gold absorbing injury rather than health. I think that by hacking lerasium hemalurgy, whatever metal can be used to steal 'all abilities', with trellium it makes one immune to hemalurgy so that no one can remove powers from you. 1
StormingTexan he/him Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 (edited) If I am understanding the theory correctly it is contradicted by events in SoS. Paalm used a Trelium spike to steal Idashwy's steel feruchemy that was how she had the power so in this case at least it did not grant an opposite power. She also did not seem to be immune to hemalurgy because that is exactly how Wax ends up defeating her. True it did not steal her power (of course that was not the intent) but she was not immune to being spiked. Edited October 27, 2022 by StormingTexan 7
