NameIess Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 As the proud second son of a second son of a second son, I was appalled to find a thread marketed solely towards oldest siblings, completely excluding the entirety of the great community of second oldest siblings. So I have created this thread, as a safe haven for all manner of complaints about not only younger siblings, but also older siblings.

I just have to say, I'm not surprised the oldest siblings got the first thread, they do everything first. We must now beat them at their own game. And also that is a very impressive lineage of second siblings.
AonDoor he/him Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Dang. Now I'm gonna have to start a thread for third childs. (And yes, I know that's not grammatically correct.)

My current plan is to have such an engaging conversation that other second siblings want to join in. They will read it and either see how relatable our comments and woes are on second sibling-hood, or they will want to be enticed by our quality dialogue. My plot is foolproof. I assume we would do this by talking about second child stereotypes because that seems like a fun topic. I find that I am generally regarded as the responsible one in my family, is the same true for you Nameless*? *And anyone else who wants to join the chat.

Compared to my older brother, of course. Not sure how my younger siblings will turn out.

Interesting, I find myself doing most of the chores and cleanup while my older sibling takes a more leadership position.

Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted October 30, 2022 Posted October 30, 2022 Hi there! Did you know that second children own their older sibling’s soul? (My brother got his back and is hiding it. I sold it to someone else a while back.) @Potato's Wit 1
Potato's Wit she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I actually still have his soul. 1

Did she sell it to you? Are you sure it wasn't given back by your sister? He was most insistent he was hiding it. 1
Potato's Wit she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) I actually stole it from her, but I didn't tell her, so she probably thinks she still has it. Tehe. Edit: I told Ranyu and I thought she told you. Edited October 31, 2022 by Potato's Wit
Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) No. Did she tell my brother that she gave it back to him when you actually had it? @That1Cellist @Ranryu Edited October 31, 2022 by Rabbit Unmade
Potato's Wit she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 I don't know... maybe someone stole it from me?
Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Someone? Like who? (Also, this probably looks really weird to that other sharder watching us.)
Ranryu she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 The Cellist’s soul is currently owned by the Communist hat god, as far as i know
Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 5 minutes ago, Ranryu said: The Cellist’s soul is currently owned by the Communist hat god, as far as i know Really? How? I didn't hear about this. When did it happen? DID YOU GIVE IT TO THE COMMUNIST HAT GOD!?!
Ranryu she/her Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 No, no! Of course not! I actually have no knowledge of how he fell under the hat god's power. You'd have to ask him. Also, it's the oldest girl child, not the second child. Unless there are no girls, and then the second child is the default soul-owner. (Sorry, Potato. I own your soul, not vice versa.)
Going_North_cal Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 my brother would love this thread. he's a second sibling/middle child.

Well, I apologies second children, unless you are female and have an older brother you do not own your older sibling's soul. I think maybe his lunch table somehow got his soul and gave it away. Actually, I think I saw him wearing the hat once. Maybe that's when the communist hat god got it. Edited October 31, 2022 by Rabbit Unmade

NameIess Posted November 1, 2022 Author Posted November 1, 2022 Well, I may own my older brother’s soul, but I don’t own my soul, as I forgot to balance a shoe on my head while making a 17th shard account.
Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Wait… WE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!?! Well then, I doubt any Sharders how their soul, then.
NameIess Posted November 1, 2022 Author Posted November 1, 2022 We were supposed to yodel too. Don’t worry, I’m sure your soul is very happy with the bagel seller who owns it.
Rabbit Unmade she/her Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 The Cellist soul was owned by the Communist Hat God. Does that mean the Bagel Seller has it now?
