I have tested and you can access the status update text box both with the Create button at the top on desktop, and also on your Profile. I just tested it, it’s still not working. There's no message saying there's an error or anything like that. It's normal, it looks like it's uploading but it just isn't, instead the... last activity seems to get refreshed (the text that says states the latest topic that I followed refreshes) Edit: it's working on my laptop.
