Is Trell Whimsy?

Doing a reread of Mistborn Era 1 & 2 in anticipation of Lost metal and came across this in Hero of Ages.  Chapter 46
Sazed is talking about Nelazan people who worshipped Trell, “they had known a great deal about astronomy, but their teachings on the afterlife were sketchy-almost whimsical.”

Am I drawing too much from this?

Short answer - yes you are likely reading too much into the comment.

Yes.

Together it means Trell should be associated with one of the Shards we knew of at the time of Words of Radiance:

Devotion, Dominion, Preservation, Ruin, Odium, Honor, Cultivation, Endowment, and Autonomy

I'm still in camp Autonomy, mostly because they have a history of meddling and Bleeder making a big deal about not being controlled by Harmony (I.e. being autonomous). Those are the big 2 reasons why.

I agree with Autonomy. I think ultimately Autonomy will be the Cosmere big bad guy...I get the feeling Autonomy will want to Off many of the Shards. Maybe not ones like Endowment or Mercy, but most of the others....
