Just how boring Crossroads of Twilight really was?

Ok, it's an established fact that CoT is the worst book in the series by far, but, looking in hindsight, many things happened during it. I think the main issue is the sense of not going forward, because all of the action takes place simultaneously with the ending of Winter's heart, and we keep being reminded of it through all the characters sensing what's happening at Shadar Logoth. But, I think with a good summary, the book can be seen in a better light. Here's an animated summary of the events of the book. At least it can work in the case you're re-reading the series and are thinking of skipping this book.

It is my least favourite wheel of time book. That is how boring it is.
