Serack he/him
This forum and wiki is pretty dang impressive. I hope something official like it materializes for Patrick Rothfuss since his work is pretty dang deep too. I'm a pretty big contributer for the Jim Butcher forums and some of you might recognize me from there I guess. I haven't read the new Mistborn book but other than that I've read everthing Sanderson has written so far and own everything but Warbreaker, which I didn't find as stellar as everything else he has written. After reading Jim Butcher's Changes cliffhanger last year I was not terribly interested in investing myself into more longrunning series, but caved in in the past few weeks and picked up the latest instalment of WoT, the Way of Kings, and both Rothfuss' published Kingkiller Cronicle books, as well as some other stuff. So thanks to all you guys that put in so much great effort into the wiki and in helping distribute quotes from Sanderson's book signings and such (Jim Butcher signed my nook "To the WoJ Guru" referring to "Word of Jim" which means Jim Butcher quotes), so I love that kind of stuff. Joe ST he/him
Hey there Serack, great to have you with us. I hope we can convince you to become a Guru of our stuff too (though not as much as Chaos or Kchan. that would be CRAZY). You should watch out for Chaos, he's likely to try and spike you lol. Looks like I will be spending time this weekend reading the brandonothology. Oh, and I forgot about Brandon's YA books, which I haven't read, so I haven't read everything Do you guys have a forum shorthand for Brandon Sanderson? I can't bring myself to say BS. Do you have a list of common acronyms?
Serack he/him
Without having read through it, does the brandonothology (what a keyboardfull) include every signing Q&A session and such that a recording can be found of on the internet? Or are there youtube video's of Q&A sessions or con pannels that haven't been transcribed, and thus arn't there?

The Branodonothology (or Brandonology, I do both) was made so that there was one place that you could look when you're constructing theories. So, it has the interviews where Brandon goes into information about the Cosmere, rather than just your run-of-the-mill "When is this coming out?" So in other words, it has all of the pertinent interviews and Q&As (for our purposes). Although generally not the WoT stuff. Theoryland and Terez have that covered. Also, welcome! I'm glad you like what you see, and we hope to see more of you!

Joe ST he/him
There shouldnt be, for either of those questions. You can set the forum to filter by a threshold (click the blue bar under the last post on a page). Your avatar should just work. I think you uploaded it into the wrong slot, since you're profile picture is set to an avatar.
KChan she/her
There is no post threshold, ever. If someone makes a post today, it will still be visible ten years from now. Also, Joe, I feel slighted! I've spiked a fair number of people myself, you know. Anyways, welcome, Serack! It's good to have you on 17S. I hope you enjoy it here!
