The last few years short stories have become favorites. I actually make a video on this recently, and the ones I suggested there were Black Arrow by Bruce D Cordell, Power & Prestige by DJ Butler, The  Two Best Thieves in Lankhmar by Fritz Leiber, Black Colossus by Robert E Howard, and Hellsgarde by CL Moore. Most recent ones I’ve read have been Trip, Trap by Gene Wolfe, At Moonset Blackcat Comes by Gary Gygax, and The Dark Eidolon by Clark Ashton Smith. All have been great, and would recommend to fantasy/sci-fi fans.

Avid reader of short stories and everything else since childhood.  I liked Bradbury, classic sci-fi anthologies, even those anthologies they made us read in grade school.
