Can feruchemical Identity minds be tapped by anyone?

Question

Posted

When someone stores there Identity while filling another metalmind, that other metalmind becomes "unkeyed", allowing anyone with the relevant ability to tap it and use it as fuel for their ability. But what about the Identity itself? Can someone even tap an Identity mind, since it itself seems to be Identity keyed to someone else? Or does the investiture not count as having an Identity itself, only temporarily granting Identity to someone who taps it?

We just know that Identity metalminds are involved in the creation of Unkeyed Metalminds, I think. We don't know anything more about aluminium minds.

Storing it would probably blank your Identity and allow you to store Feruchemical attributes that are not keyed to you and can be used by anyone with the relevant Feruchemical ability.

But we don't have any idea what tapping it would do. Would it do nothing? Make us feel more like ourselves? Show us who we really are and make us face some uncomfortable truths about ourselves or show us a vision of the perfect us in the Spiritual? We don't know what the cost of storing it would be, would we feel less like us or something? Go insensate?

Other people probably wouldn't be able to tap someone else's aluminium-mind. It stores the exact same thing that codes a metalminds' stored attributes to only allow a certain person to access the Investiture. I don't think other people could tap someone else's Identitymind.
