  1. I always loved much of the playful relationship between Vin and Elend and nothing topped it more for me than when they finally got to dance and Elend of course immediately pulls out a book. I can only imagine how exasperated and yet amused Vin must have felt. I also loved the idea of her simple, but elegant black dress and him in his white uniform. Such a contrasting look, though there weren’t a ton of descriptive details to work with, so I took some liberties. Anyways, I wanted to do a piece involving that scene and so this was the result. Hope you all enjoy!

  4. Hello everyone! Just checking in for an intro as I officially join the forums. Been a fan of Sanderson's works for about 4 years now, starting with Mistborn. Was lucky enough to meet him recently during the Skyward tour at the Tattered Cover bookstore. I am a hobbyist artist and just recently finished a Mistborn piece based on the original trilogy that I'll be sharing shortly and will hopefully have some other pieces from Mistborn (both Era 1 and Era 2) and Stormlight in the near future.
  5. Thank you! Yeah, when I start the piece and started trying to figure out a composition, I knew I wanted to include Kredic Shaw in it somehow and the coins and atium seemed like iconic things I couldn't leave out (I had other things I was contemplating, but it made it far too busy, so maybe in another piece). Glad you liked the piece! I love it!
  6. That was great I don't know why, but when I think of Doomslug, I start hearing this in my head.
  7. Very cool! Recently playing through Spider-man on PS4 made me wish there could be an open-world Mistborn game that had that level of fluidity with the movement and controls. This is definitely a good step in that direction as nailing the physics is going to be key to something like that.
