  1. Someone says to Dalinar (I think in the visions, but I can't look right know) that he must appoint a champion. They said Odium cannot refuse. The desolations were Odium's champions (the voidbringers) versus the Almighty's champions (the heralds). Dalinar will probably find a way to bond Odium into having to fight champions (Shallan, Kaladin)
  2. I have not read Wheel of Time. I didn't like the first book.
  3. My favorite book is either Warbreaker of WoR. The Cosmere is awesome.
  4. No, I used the quote "You'll find god in the same place you're going to find salvation from this mess," Wit said, "Inside the hearts of men."
  5. The secret societies we know of are: 1. Ghostbloods (people following the diagram) - Their goal is to save humanity, regardless of the cost. They are led by Tarvagian and they want to unite the world under his leadership. 2. Sons of Honor - Amaram is one of them. They want to bring the desolations in the misguided hope that the Heralds and Knights Radiant will return. They don't realize that only one herald will return, the one that died. The others broke the path pact. 3.Skybreakers - They are led by Nalan, the herald of justice, and want to kill surgebinders because they (incorrectly) believe that they will bring the desolations. Shallans brother was a Skybreaker. The Skybreakers were originally an order of the KR, but don't seem to be anymore. 4. Tefts family was part of a group that want the KR to return.
  6. No: 1. Kelsier is dead, so they can't take his consciousness. Nobody did it while he was alive 2. It wouldn't be fun to read. One thing I like about Sanderson is that his characters can die. He already brought characters back in other books (which really annoys me) and shouldn't do it now. It would remove all suspense from fights because we know the characters won't die. Kelsier is awesome, and I don't want him to be tainted by a resurrection.
  7. Not Hoids origin story. It's much more interesting to figure stuff out on your own using the tidbits Sanderson gives you. Looking forward to SLA because it seems the most connected to the cosmere, and it is so awesome.
  8. When you quote part of the epilogue to WoR by memory in a discussion about whether god exists
  9. Hi, I'm new. I have read all of Sandersons books (except wheel of time)
