  1. This is probably going to go nowhere, but Wayne seems to know a lot about some aspects of the Cosmere. Both in AOL and SOS he mentions the God Beyond, which seems to be his religion of choice, and has been theorised to be related towards Adolnasium. He also wanted to speak to Hoid while Wax was talking to Harmony, could it be Wayne has contacts who are world-hoppers? I think this is unlikely since he probably would have called on them during the crisis in SOS, however, there must be somewhere he has gotten this information. Thanks for hearing my musings.
  2. Going back to the Hemalurgy idea, what about if the women that were taken were all presumed to be Duralumin mistings, which would have no reason to make public their powers, but when duralumin is transferred by Hemalurgy then you will get some very strong mistings for the Set. This might also explain why they took Steris, due to no one announcing they can burn Duralumin, the kidnappers are bound to make some mistakes occasionally. I think that this would be a very sneaky way for the set to get super strong Allomancers, without having to breed them (which would take at least 18 years from when they took the women.)
  3. "Dalinar ran the entire way" God that line got to me so much. True Glory is almost my favourite chapter due to this interaction.
  4. Hi all just going back to the original question, I was re-reading the Taln Chapter in WoR and saw this quote 'The Gift and Words. Not his. Never his. Now his.' This can defiantly be used as evidence to support the idea that this isn't the real Taln, but someone who has somehow come into possession of his words and message. Now I have no idea who that could be, and I don't think we're supposed to yet.
  5. Hi all, this is my first post, so wish me luck! So on the last page of Firefight, Dawnslight gives a message to David saying: "dream good dreams Steelslayer." I've been thinking about this a lot, and what if it means that David has the potential to be an Epic, but since he has no identifiable fear that could be turned into a weakness, as he faced down water, he is not an Epic yet. If he ever gets one, then has nightmares about it, it could define his weakness, causing his powers to then manifest; you can't have an Epic without a weakness. Thanks for reading my musings.
