Incheoul Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I read The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance, then decided I liked the books so much that I wanted to read his other novels. I read the Mistborn Trilogy and Alloy of Law. I noticed some small connections which made me recheck Words of Radiance and then needed another book so I picked up Warbreaker. After that book I realized some more connections from Stormlight Archive and those small connections really made me enjoy each book more. What order did you guys read the books and what order do you think is the best to read them in? 1
Green Hoodie Mistborn he/him Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I started at the beginning: Elantris, Mistborn Trilogy, Warbreaker... I've basically read them in order published.
Purelake Earthquake he/him Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Mistborn Trilogy, Elantris, Alloy, Warbreaker, Emperor's Soul, Way of Kings, Shadows for Silence, Words of Radiance, Sixth of the Dusk. I also read all the non-cosmere books mixed in there and like half of WoT and tons of other books, since I almost never read entire series back to back this was over a few years. I bought Emperor's Soul and Shadows for Silence on amazon when they came out. Words of Radiance was the first book I was caught up enough to buy on release day and start reading later that day (I had to finish up my WoK reread first). Sixth of the Dusk I ordered the limited edition and read shortly after receiving it. The only other books I've read more than once are tFE and WoA this summer, I'll do HoA again sometime this year.
